Increase Productivity with Software Automation
Just as mechanical automation can provide benefits to your metal fabrication operation, software automation can do the same. The goals are identical. With less operator interaction, software automation will provide greater productivity, reduced cost per part, minimized errors, standardized processes, auditable records, and increased process scalability. This presentation will show the benefits of software automation in a modern metal fabrication facility and offer pointers for your own tech journey into software automation. The presenter will provide the benefits of his research and experience to this new fabricating frontier.

Connecting the Fabrication Process in the Digital Age
Putting the right tools in place that facilitate clear lines of communication will drive efficiency, profits, and growth. Operations that don’t collect and share the data that inform each step are missing a step in the digital age. We will diagnose four telltale scenarios that expose timewasters that commonly occur between departments: Production scheduling to sales, Estimating to production, Scheduling to programming, and Shipping to production. Attendees will also learn some realistic steps: types of platform, integrating different software and machines, and identifying milestones for the biggest gains.

My passion is to equip shops in the manufacturing industry with the tools that will help them be successful. For the past seven years, I have worked on software solutions that help manufacturers to become more productive and profitable. From streamlined quoting, to production scheduling, to integrations with 3rd party business systems, connection between processes and people is essential in today’s manufacturing.
