Overview

Optimizing Finishing Systems: Smarter Process, Flow, and Control

1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Today’s finishing systems are driven by process, not just equipment. This session highlights how coating selection—powder, liquid, or e-coat—shapes system design, influencing layout, throughput, and overall performance. It also explores material handling strategies, including traditional and emerging conveyor solutions, with a focus on selecting the right approach for each application.
The session concludes with a look at modern control systems and the role of data, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies in improving visibility, flexibility, and decision-making. Attendees receive a comprehensive look at how integrated, process-driven thinking is shaping the next generation of finishing systems, helping manufacturers improve performance, increase flexibility, and maximize operational efficiency.
