This presentation will explain through some examples of completely integrated rollforming lines showing the operations that are performed to produce parts with holes, slots, notches and cutting the part to length. The presentation will also look more closely at each type of dies used in the line examples which includes:

In-Line Punching: Pre & Post, Stationary & Flying (Also Included Rotary Punching).

Flying Cut-off Dies: Slug, Slugless.

System Integration: Showing the above Dies, with different Presses, Measuring.

When the Press Tonnage Rating Is Really Not That Tonnage in Roll Forming

This presentation will cover the different types of presses used in roll forming (mechanical, air and hydraulic), along with discussing/showing how different presses have different tonnage ratings, and how to figure what press would be good for your application.
