Manufacturing is a Team Sport: How Technology and Collaboration Are Strengthening the American Supply Chain

11:00 am – 11:45 am Intermediate

The American manufacturing revolution is underway, but winning against overseas competition is a team effort that requires every player in the supply chain to pull in the same direction. In this session, Jeff will make the case that manufacturers who thrive today are the ones who show up as great teammates: delivering on time, pricing competitively, maintaining quality, and communicating with transparency—and how the right technology makes all of that easier. He will show how real-time visibility and seamless domain-to-domain data transfer are changing the way job shops and finishing operations collaborate with customers and partners, eliminating friction, reducing errors, and building the trust that wins repeat business. Attendees will leave with a clearer picture of where they fit in the broader manufacturing supply chain, what it means to be a high-value partner, and how purpose-built technology can help them drive margin, support growth, and compete on the world stage.

Integrating Technology for Decisive Competitive Advantage

11:45 am – 12:30 pm Intermediate

Technology investments alone do not create competitive advantage — integration does. The missing link is not more technology — it is system design. This session explores how to integrate technology into a unified operational system that increases throughput, compresses lead times, stabilizes flow, and improves decision-making at every level of the organization. Rather than viewing automation and digital tools as isolated upgrades, attendees will learn how to align new technology in way to provide greater value for the customer while simultaneously improving business performance.
Attendees will leave with a clear roadmap for leveraging technology not as a cost center, but as a decisive competitive weapon — creating faster flow, higher reliability, and sustainable performance in an increasingly demanding market.
