Anupam Chakraborty, Commercial Sales Director, Lantek USMCA, will discuss the ways a cloud-based infrastructure can be built around an on-site nesting software product, capturing all relevant data in an operation, and providing sophisticated AI tools as a source of information from which to suggest different nesting efficiencies, best practices and more. Attendees will learn: the ways advanced tools, analytics and real-time data integration across CAD/CAM (nesting), MES and ERP systems provide a foundation from which AI tools can analyze a part’s journey from beginning to end to create efficient workflow scenarios for multi-part operations and best practices implemented by shops that have successfully built a cloud-based infrastructure around their nesting software. They will also explore AI tools and services that act as cross-application assistants that work virtually beside operators, analyzing data available in the cloud, suggesting efficient nesting strategies, noting scrap and material usage, and improving consistency in shop workflows.
