After an introduction based on the theory of variability I will dive directly in the design and simulation of stamping and assembly process for BiW manufacturing, and precisely I'll be talking about what to consider to reach the validation of the digital stamping and assembly process. In addition to that, I'll go through some real case study regarding the use of data generated in engineering to support issue troubleshooting in tool tryout and production, and how the final quality of assembly can be higher if we remove the barriers that divide stamping and assembly departments.
