This interactive presentation will provide troubleshooting strategy and insights for all who paint and prepare parts for painting. Presenters from the cleaning, pretreatment, and paint technology segments will provide real world examples of defects and the strategies to identify and correct them. Attendees will be able to examine defects, interact with the presenters, and raise questions about their individual production challenges.

David Schimpff
DuBois Chemicals
Biography
David Schimpff has been with DuBois Chemicals since 1992. Starting his career as a product development chemist, he later spent time in marketing, project management, business development and sales management roles. For the past 18 years, Dave has been directed the Research and Application Technology activities of DuBois. He holds degrees from Miami University and The Ohio State University. He holds patents and has been published in industry and academic journals.
Jerimy Erickson is the Global Product Director at Sherwin Williams; he has responsibility for the General Industrial Product Portfolio and Innovation at Sherwin Williams in all regions of the globe. Jerimy joined the company in 1997, as a chemist in the Industrial Wood Group in Minneapolis. Over the last 27 years Jerimy has held a variety of positions including, Chemist, Group Leader, Technical Manager, Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager, Global Account Manager, Marketing Director and Global Product Director. Jerimy holds a bachelor’s in chemistry from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC – Chapel Hill.
