Attendees will learn how to select and properly apply the three most important types of sensors. Jim explains the advantages and limitations of each sensor type, and provides tricks and tips for sensor selection, installation, wiring, and maintenance.

    Biography

    Jim has 45 years of experience in the metal stamping industry, specifically helping manufacturers to implement die protection programs. Jim is the Product Manager for Wintriss Controls. He is responsible for new product development as well as die protection and sensor technology. Jim has presented at countless trade shows, conventions, and technology conferences, and authored dozens of articles on controls and monitoring technology for the stamping industry.
